Forlorn Spirits: Cosmic Ember

Fri Aug 22, 2008, 8:35 PM
Salutations people;

Well recently I posted three chapters of Forlorn Spirits. This novel is still in the works and I'm looking for feedback on it so I can improve the story. I have the other nine chapters outline (pretty much the entire book), but I still have to write it out and fix it up. Instead of re-releasing every time and spamming my watcher's inbox with "New Deviations" I am going to use this thread to let people know about updates and to what chapter.

August 22, 2008:
Chapter 1 - New content, tweaked responses.
Chapter 2 - New content, tweaked responses.
Chapter 3 - New content, tweaked responses.
[New!] Chapter 4 added.
[New!] Revamped Chapter 1
It came to my attention that chapters 1-3 read dryer than I wanted and if I can't hook people in the first chapter then the book is going to flop. After completing chapter 4 I saw the drastic difference in character that Jesse showed so I felt I should rewrite the first three chapters.

August 23, 2008:
Chapter 1 - New Content, new scenes.
I know I said I wouldn't update the deviations themselves, but I felt the changes were so vast I should do it anyways. Sorry to all of you who may of gotten annoyed.

5,000

Sat Jul 26, 2008, 9:03 AM
Alrighty!

I reached 5,000 hits! This may not seem big to some of you big wigs, but it means a lot to me that 5,000 (Just about) different people suffered through my art! Hehe. Anyways I'm going to draw a picture to commemorate this. I was going to draw on myself with markers and put that picture up, but, uh, I- Yeah, I tried, but it didn't turn out so well. So picture it is.

Thank you everyone who has viewed the page!

An Experiment in Movement.

Sun Jul 20, 2008, 3:08 AM
It's 4am in the morning and I felt the need to wax philosophic for a while. This is something I want people who are reading this to reflect upon and think about.

For all intensive purposes the human body is a shell and a protective vehicle for the brain that we know so little about. In the end our the greatest part of who we are and deep down is us (Ironic how we know so little about it then, hrm?). Now that thats out of the way you can begin to get to the major point.

We move our bodies and we stand still. The difference between these two is quite easily noted; However, what you must now look at is moving with your mind and standing still with it. If we are our mind then we must focus on where our mind is, not our body.

Stand still and focus on where your mind it. Know where it is and get the perspective of the world from your mind and know that feeling. After you've done that start to walk around. While walking around take note of where your mind is. Do not think about where your body is, but where your mind is. You'll begin to notice that there is no real difference between being still and moving. It's a surreal feeling almost as if the world itself is moving around you.

Go ahead, my readers, give it a try. Heck post your thoughts on it too or your experience with it if you did it. I'm interested to see learn about the experiences through another person's perspective.

Wolf's Anneversary of Birth. (June 19th)

Wed Jun 18, 2008, 1:39 PM
Salutations all,

My birthday is tomorrow! This is the first time in a long time that I'll actually be doing something for besides looking at the calender and acknowledging I am a year older! Haha, anyways I'm a little excited. It's odd though because I really don't care much about birthdays. Well not my own. Anyways I will update the details of things tomorrow on my actual birthday, June 19.

GO GEMINIS!

It struck midnight near 30 minutes ago. IT HAS BEGUN!

- Well that was fun. I got to eat some BBQ then crash at a friends all night until 6am, I fell asleep until 4pm yesterday (the 20th) and went to a DnD game until I got home just now.
